Smitty XRC. love mine ... rattle free and never once had that handle pop thing I read about in the past. Honestly I also like the fact it is not a full width rear bumper as it just looks right with a set of fenders.

I need a tire carrier as well, been seriously debating whether I want to spend big $$ on one. Right now I am juggling the $400 rancho because I love how simple it is and it does the job for cheap only problem being lack of corner protection and the other being the Rockhard rear bumper with tire carrier which is a really nice setup for almost $1k. I think I will end up with the rancho

I'm leaning toward the LOD cuz it matches my front and the additional cost is probably less than one rear corner repair. Now I'm just debating shorty or full width. Shorty appears to still protect the corners but should weigh a bit less.

LOD midwith front with an EXP1 rear.

Linked was mandatory for me as I'm always in the tailgate(newborn with lots of stuff, and a dog)

The biggest decision was the width. I too wanted some corner protection, especially since my rig is my DD. Everyday I see people playing bumper cars! I went full width. Once its no longer my DD, alot of things will change...

Plus I figure if I ever want to I could trim my full width into a custom stubby......

Why the exp1 over LOD for rear?
The seem very similar.

Default Body Armor

Have you ever thought of the Body Armor Bumper and Tire Carrier. Its roughly $700. Some people have complained of sagging, but mine isn't bad at all.

It sags when the lower bushing/seal is installed upside down. The carrier doesn't seat properly and sags. I redid mine two times but finally root caused it to that seal. Once I flipped it over I never had a sagging problem again. It's a very decent bumper and carrier. Can't complain.

ACE is coming out with a bumper and tire carrier soon. Carries up to 40 inch tires, has a hi lift jack mount, light cavities, integrated hitch, d ring points and best of all, opens with the tailgate. Said to retail around $650.
