A friend of mine who is an old school off roader SWEARS by bilstein. I'm really tempted by that 4wd offer.. If I read correctly, the OMEs are twin tube? But do folks still say monotube is better?
What about any of the adjustable shocks? Do they really work? Or it is just more stuff that can break?

I went with the OME long travel with my RE 3.5" Superflex lift. Dave at Northridge 4x4 hooked me up for $75 each for the OMEs as part of the whole lift kit deal. Not sure if he would do $75 when just buying shocks, but it can't hurt to ask him. Keep in mind the free shipping as well. The OMEs are awesome, both offroad and on and Dave is great to work with.

Twin tubes just offer a layer of protection if they get dented. If a mono tube gets dented... chances are its shot.

I think you made a good choice. I liked the OME shocks and when I went to a 4" lift I purchased the OME long travel shocks.

Teraflex has great shocks, great ride and no bushing problems. look on ebay, there around 55 each. they make them for 2 -3 " lift and more
