im more worried about them being stout and super solid, than how they look.

have you tried those hanson's off road?

If you want solid go EVO... Just go watch their videos and see what those guys put them through!

I have been wanting the LoD's and I know the new Poison Spyder ones are not on your list BUT I think they should be. I would vote LoD or Poison Spyder,, I can't decide myself.

I vote LOD. I've dropped my Jeep on boulders and my initial reaction was...crap..just destroyed my Jeep. Get out and look and see my LOD sliders holding my Jeep body away from the boulders with barely a scratch. Unbelievably solid and heavy duty. Just a PITA to install....although no welding required!

Plus....LOD's have a flat top that act as a side step for the short people in your life (like my wife).

I love my LoD sliders. If i didnt need them to have a lower functional step for me though, I would have went with the PJ body mounted ones. I think either are great, it just depends on your needs.

My vote is evo, you cant beat the strength of weld on. I was considering LoD but wait turned me off.
