Default Help me get more lift...coil spacers?

So right now I am running the 2.5" TF coil lift with shock extensions. I've added a front bumper/winch and in the next week will be adding a LoD tire carrier/bumper. My rear is already sagging a bit since i got my 35" toyo m/t's (heavy suckers). I was thinking of adding a 1" coil spacer in the back and maybe a 1/2" or 3/4" in the front, as well as getting some longer shocks (get rid of shock extensions).

Now, I just want to make sure i'm not getting in over my head. I have a 2dr 6spd, so will I need adj. trackbars, adj. control arms, or a new drive shaft? I should be sitting around 3" of lift after adding these spacers...maybe a little more? I dont want to have to spend huge money, just looking for a little more clearance, and a little more flex from longer shocks, as well as keeping the jeep level. I've done a search but came up with mixed answers. Joe at TF suggested front lower control arms, but other than that I should be ok. Just wanted to see if any one had any other experience. thanks!

Depending on the height difference front to back, 1/2" & 1" or 3/4" & 1" would be good. I have the 1" teraflex spacer with the spring keeper in the back. Nice feature, I'd recommend it.

I'd also recommend adding a front extended bumpstop, if you don't have one in the front coil already.

Adj trackbars or brackets would be nice, depends on the budget and how much you don't like the axle offset.

A set of front adj control arms would be further up on my list than the trackbars, though. Again, depends on the budget and how it handles after the added lift, but I'd go ahead and get a set. (if you get only the uppers, since they are cheaper, be sure they can be adjusted short enough. The Curries can, not sure about Tera or any of the others)

already have the bumpstops that came with my lift, i think they would be long enough. My budget is such that I'm trying not to spend a whole lot of money at once. axle offset doesnt bug me to much unless its really noticeable. Would upper front CA's be better than lower ones? I just dont want my ride to suck since I drive on the street most of the time.

anyone else have any ideas?

i think with 3/4 spacers you will be fine. After all that metal you should sit right at 3 inchs. anything over 3 and your gonna have to do driveshaft. I dont think the control arms are needed at 3 inchs or less they are nice but not needed. Trac bars for sure.

Either will let you set the caster.

Lowers will have more adjustability, as they will be 'longer' than stock.

Uppers are cheaper, but you adjust them 'shorter' than stock to get the caster where you want it, which can be an issue if you can't go 'short' enough...

My preference would be lowers first, but with only 3" of lift and a tight budget, you'll be fine with uppers if that's the route you choose.

Get lowers, uppers may be cheaper, but for the frt you want the lowers. Alot easier install and adjust aswell, no bolt cutting, one less thing to worry about.
