Default help me decide please

looking at the bfg muds, xtreme by procomb, or toyo mt 35/12.50/15, do alot of driving and moderate offroading , I like the look of the tire extending way outside the fender and beafy sidewalls ,going with a black soft 8 15 rim by procomp, need these tire to wear well ,had the wrangler mtrs, and had very uneven wearing patterns happening . would like all opinions, even on other tires recomindations, ordering this week, 2.5 bb being installed thanx

I purchased some Mastercraft M/Ts and they are awesome and alot cheaper than the other. They have an extremely aggressive look and they have a 50,000 mile Warranty. I am completely happy with them. I don't know know if this helps but alot of people don't even think of Mastercraft and they made great tires.

Hey Flakedog, what size are your tires and do you have a lift or spacers?

If price is not a concern, I would go with the Toyos. You can see from what I'm running that I didn't do that myself though...

Those mastercrafts do look nice, I too look forward to hearing your set up!

Also does anyone know if there's a tire that measure about 34" in height? It seems that would help lots of jeepers to clear tires with some of the set ups available for us.

I am running the Pro Comp MTs on my 99 TJ 3" lift in HI and I have not been stopped well once I tried to climb the side of Kiana Point and stopped about 3/4 of the way up when the front end got real squirrly LOL. BUT the PC's are real quite and they are buy 3 get 1 free right now. I air down to about 15 when I go off and never popped a bead yet. The Lava is a lil rough but it chewed the heck out of my buddies Coopers where mine on the same run had very minor cuts. One thing I don't like but is not a deal breaker is they have no sidewall tread but hey go for the Xtremes if that is an issue. Wear I have no clue as I only had about 500 on them when I shipped out to the desert. But a lot of grab for the $$ + they heve the New MT's in the Xtreme Compound one of my buddies says F'n A they ROCK! Hope this helps

They're 285/75R16 I I have spacers but did not use them because these tires don't rub at all. I have a 2" Superlift BB, but have not had the days off to put it on yet. (Will post pics after) I may put the spacers on after the lift just for the wider look.

I currently run 32x11.5 BFG Mud's and love em! I had Super Swampers on my my TJ and they wore down faster with a lot more road noise and vibration than the BFG's I had on my XJ. They work equally in the mud and wear pretty dam even (having any mud terrain tire's rotated and balanced with every oil change is key). Absolutely no complaints!
