Oh wow 54000 miles. Please take a picture of your front springs for the guy you're recommending this to. I got more height out of a teraflex 2.5" than you're getting from that 4"

Sorry but that is incorrect. Our 2.5" BB kit only lifts the front 2.5" as it uses 2.5" coil spacers. Now our 2.5" coil kit will lift the front on a stock JK 3.1". The BB kit still has some nose down look vs the coil kit just about levels it out.

You can run a TeraFlex 2.5" or a 3" kit for 35's. Feel free to call if you have any questions.

I have the rock krawler 3.5" mid arm. No complaints here. Think it was 1400-1500.

I would spend on a good quality lift that is reputable like a 3" Teraflex. It sounds like this would give you the look you are wanting, and you won't have to worry about sagging springs and a rough ride.

Rusty's makes a real nice 3.5" lift with control arms. Be sure to factor in a new front driveshaft since the OE will tear the boot when lifted over 3". You will also have to do some exhaust work to the midpipe like with an AFE or Magnaflow unit. And tires are gonna run over $200 ea (x5). Then you'll have to get a new rear bumper with a tire carrier because the tailgate will get very pissed off with the added weight.

Moral of the story... J(ust) E(mpty) E(very) P(ocket)

Cheers

A lot of the components you see in the taller lifts are for onroad handling (to fix the geometry that was messed up by the lift), and not for offroad performance. So, you just might want some of the bells and whistles...

By now I'll guess that you have read the two threads stuck to the top of this modified area, but maybe glancing at them again wouldn't hurt.

When you are comparing kits, pay attention to whether they have some form of caster correction, some form of axle centering, and roll center correction can also be a good thing. Many people start looking at high steers/drag link flips/(or drop pitmans) when they get over 3", but do some research before deciding. Longer links and longer brakelines may be more for offroad use, but can become issues while simply being on a lift at the shop, so, more research. And as noted above, you will be in the range where you may, at some point, experience driveshaft problems, so get a handle on what you want to do if/when.

Just at a guess, the AEV 3.5" might be a good choice to look at. And Rock Krawler, Metal Cloak, Rancho, Synergy all seem to be fairly popular here.
