Default Help with lift

Installing rancho 4" lift on jku. Removing old 2.5" BB from suspension. Do I reuse JUST the OEM bump stop or leave it connected to the Teraflex bump stop adapter ?

The Rancho kit was designed to use the stock stop and the extension from the Rancho kit, but you could always bolt up the shock, bumpstop extension from the Rancho kit and the Teraflex extension, compress the shock and see if the bumpstop hits before the shock is totally compressed. If it does, remove the Tereaflex extension try again and see if the shock compresses all the way before the bumpstop hits and then decide. You will need to do this without the front springs installed. I have the Rancho 4 inch sport kit on my 2 door and I suspect my bumpstops are to short, but I havn't stuffed the front all the way yet, so I'm not sure.

If you are certain that you have the correct shock (that it's not too short). Try placing a jack under the axle and jack that side up, just enough for you to get the nut & bolt into the shock...
