I wish I saw this thread sooner cause the same thing happened to me last week. I was messing with the ignition remote wire and I thought I fried the wire or created a short and the jeep wouldn't crank. My last ditch effort, should of been my first, was to check the fuses and sure enough I blew the ignition fuse. Man I sweated for about an hour or two!

Yeah, I know. My wife is SUPER pissed at me. Tow truck, gas driving me back and forth, dealership fees, day off from work... Over a stupid fuse. I just spent the last hour with her screaming at me.
Looks like another night sleeping in the Jeep for me. I've never be upset at her over a simple mistake, not sure why she freaks out when I make one. I don't do it very often.

Only thing that could be worse is if she reads this thread...
Good news is that you weren't out a week with a rental car with a major electrical issue costing you even larger $$. Good to hear that you are back on the road.

Thank you!!!!!
Your pain helped me a ton. I was putting in an HID kit and thought I blew a fuse so check a couple... well luck may have it I must have moved a fuse over a slot. I finished up the install and it wouldn't start so I tried to jump it thinking that I drained the battery from playing with the lights. When that didn't work I pulled the superchip programmer and started to read codes. I got all four of the same codes. I went into panic/melt down. I work in the ORV industry and when we get those codes it is usually a bad ECU. Not a big deal when you're are in the factory but when it is your daily driver it is a different story. Turned out it was an easy fix. Sorry you had to be the first to post this issue but I very much appreciate you posting this!!!!!
