Help !!!! Jeep wont start.
I didn't mean to, but I disconnected the ground on my battery, now the Jeep will not start. Unfortunately I have a Superchips tune and that really messed up everything. It says Cannot Detect Ignition On and gives me several codes,
U0100, lost com with ecm/pcm
U0101, lost com with tcm
U140E, implausible vehicle configuration data received
C2202, original vin mismatch/missing
I bought the chip used, but it was returned to stock by the previous owner and I've been running with it for several weeks. I'm stuck with no one at all to help me get home.
Is there a master reset I can use to limp home?

With most electronics, enough time powered off will reset factory settings. Disconnect the battery entirely, find the chip, disconnect any battery it has and let it sit for an hour. Reconnect everything and try I start it. If it still doesn't work, redisconnect everything again, pull the battery from the chip, and let sit for 12 hours.

Disconnecting/reconnecting the ground should not cause this. Done it several times w/ my SuperChips.
Why did you disconnect the ground? (just trying to figuire this out)
Just seen you have dual batteries?

I have a cut off switch and I didn't realize I tripped it when checking a fuse, but that was on my aux battery, separate from the ignition.
I didn't think disconnecting the ground would do that either, but then I saw the switch was flipped, but again it was only on my aux battery.

Power works, everything. Just won't crank. If I had a meter I could tell you what the voltage the batteries are reading. But I do not think that's the problem, as everything is powered.
I get a battery light and engine light.
I'll ask the maintenance guys if they have a meter.
