Default Help Finding U-Joint

So I hear a rotating knocking sound, get out to find the cap fell off the front passenger side of the U-joint. I have read on here that they are "around $20" but when I call the stealership they quoted me $99 and Autozone says they don't carry them.

Can someone help me out with a part number or something that I can get this U-joint?

part of the reason your u joint cap came off is because oem type joints come with c clips instead of full circle clips but the main reason they came off is because they used less than ideal materials to manufacture there axleshafts, this leads to the bores becoming oblong and allowing the caps to spin in the first place...the only real way to correctly fix your problem would be to upgrade to a set of cromo shafts as the bores in yours are already out of tolerance and installing a new joint will most likely result in the same thing happening...if that upgrade is not in the budget now then you can tack weld the end caps and that should keep your caps in place...hope this helps...

Would this info apply to a 2012 Sahara front axel, has anything changed? Thank you.
