Personally, I would not put that size tire on a 17 inch rim if you plan to rock crawl... not enough flex to wrap around the rock. I have 15" rims, but 16" is the next best thing.

I'm running 35's on 15"wheels and the tire flex on road is no worse then the stock tires. If you like the look go for it. Back in the day 15" wheels and 33" tires used to be the combo every one wanted.

If you're considering an OME Kit.....give David at Northridge 4x4 a call. He puts together some complete packages per your specific needs at a great price !
I went with the OME Long Travel Kit and HD coils....probably more then you need if you're sticking with 32" - 33" tires.
