Default Help. This cant be this hard?

Installed Warn 12s. For past 2 hrs I've been trying to thread the rope thru the drum. What's the secret? Pulling/pushin and can't get it thru?! Any suggests pls!

I thought they just had a pinch bolt on the drum? Is this synthetic or cable.

Try using a wire coat hanger and pull it through. I used a bicycle gearshift cable.

Thx. Got it. New tonWinch thing and Was worried wire would damage the overpriced rope. Thx again for your insight
