Help with CAI
So I'm in the middle of my mods and just got done with my aFe CAI. Now I'm worried there is not enough cover/splash guard to protect it. It's been raining hard here for 3 days now and the last thing I want is hydrolock. Are there anything I can do as far as a cover? Am I just over reacting?
Thanks for any help.

Here is mine.
I like the way yours is enclosed. I really don't do any "high" water crossing or mud riding(too much to clean up) just a little trail riding.
I'm really paranoid and second guess everything I do. I like the look of the snorkel but I'm not crazy about cutting a hole in my hood. I like the sound and the response of my CAI so I don't want to put the stock box back in. Good Lord I'm starting to sound like my wife.

i have had the same type of cai in for about 6 months now. Like you, i don't cross any rivers or anything, but i do drive a lot of wet, muddy roads, and have never found any residue or moisture even close to the filter, and have had no issues. I also like the way it whistles and growls. Don't think you will have any issues.
