Default Help with body lift

Bought my jeep with a 2.5 inch teraflex lift and a 1.25 inch body lift. Looking to take the body lift off. Simply don't like it and not a fan of body lifts. Removing a body lift or anything with body lifts I have never done. Any thing I need to look for or should know before I try to remove it ?

Teraflex has an install video on their website. Should be all you need to know to remove it. (assuming it's a teraflex body lift)

Has anyone removed a body lift from a 07-11 jku?

I have one as well and would like to remove it. From what I've read, you just need the stock hardware to replace what's there. Best case would be find someone who wants the body lift and swap for their stock mounts and hardware.

I installed the RC 1.25" body lift. Then removed it after a year or so. Time consuming, not difficult.

Just read the install instructions, watch the install video, and you will know how to remove it.

Don't forget to remove the steering shaft extension.

Pop the hood and look at the firewall on the driver side. You'll see where the intermediate shaft connects and you should see a small piece bolted in that extends it about an inch.

It's possible that the 1.25" lift didn't use one, but just double check as it will be too long with the lift removed if it were there.
