I was close I just guessed. Also since it is a tapered joint smetimes you can wack the bottom of the ball joint (not the side with the nut) and this will set the tapered joint enough to get it tightened. Or you can grab the exposed threads with a pair of vice grips enough to get it started though this may mar the threads.

Ohhh, that's so wrong , but funny, still hope he's ok. Dude, you might wanna wait till tomorrow morning and get a mechanic to look at it. Seriously.

I was reading the instructions that he posted and I am confused. Why would you need to remove the front drive shaft for this install? I put on a FT ultimate and they don't tell you pull the drive shaft.
I think he took everything off and now his axel is out of alignment.

some companies tell you to pull off the tranny skid, to make it ez to lower the axle. They do it that way, for some reason??? well it is skycrapper.

My Superlift instr said the same thing. Think it's easier when a mechanic puts it on a lift and droops the axle. All I did was take off my skid. And they may be thinking the driveshaft is going to slip apart.
