Default help, 911! TF rear track bar drop bracket

It's to big, won't slide in. (yeah yeah...that's what she says). We can almost get the top bolt to mount and are trying to sand down the drop bracket. Can I just install that track bar in its stock location for now and drive and pick up a ajustable rear track bar?

Help, gotta work tomorrow

Thanks

You should be fine, I would get an adjustable track bar over the bracket anyways.

I've been running my OME 2" lift (3 1/2" actual rear lift) for a year + without a new rear trackbar or bracket.

I've got a Fabtech rear track bar bracket you could use to get you by until the adj. bar is in.

Mine wouldn't as well. Teraflex had me use a screw driver to spread it apart then also try putting the screw driver in the bolt hole to help line things up as well.

Try rocking the whole jeep back and forth and use a drift or screw driver to help line it up.

Now that's scary. My TF BB is at UPS in town ready to deliver sometime tomorrow. It would suck if the bracket doesn't fit. Does anyone know if this is a common problem or if the bracket size is inconsistent?

A tight fit is better then loose. Just use the old trusty BFH you could also WD-40 the axle which will help it slid on.
Even with an adjustable it is rrecommended to use the bracket.

Mine was tight but it did fit with a BFH.
