Most dealerships don't care if you use a programmer to adjust for speed and gearing, but if they do, all programmers option to return to stock. You have a ton of really good programmers out there that include performance tunes, but if you want an inexpensive, solid device to adjust for gears and speedo, check out the AEV ProCal. Don't be fooled into thinking its a cheap POS because it uses old fashioned dip-switches to program. AEV is top notch, and the ProCal is simple and solid.

If you want one that does performance tunes too, ask around here, tons of info and lots of opinions.

Im actually curious on the warranty part as well . if you are worried about warranty you can just get an AEV procal to recalibrate your speedo since you have a 6 speed. Besides the tire size, youre going to notice a performance loss because those steel wheels weigh quite a bit

AEV is practically (practically, not to be taken as literal) Jeep's R&D shop so any dealer that has a problem with a procal is pretty much dumb. If they do, roll your eyes and go to another dealership. Seriously, most dealers don't even care about most tuners, least of all the ProCal since it just does things like gear recalibrations, speedo, daytime running lights, wheel centering, etc.

Wow, below 10 MPG? Had my 2012 in the mountains last week pulling a 1000 lb tent trailer and I was averaging 16MPG, In town I can average about 19-20 MPG not towing of course.

If your speedo isn't correct then your low mileage calculation isn't either.

you need to re-gear and get something a little more appropriate. Here is the downside to a programmer... there isn't one for the 2011's...

They STILL haven't cracked the ecm for the 11's. You might be able to re-cal the tire size but thats about it (doubtful).

EXACTLY. I've looked and looked for a performance programmer and can't seem to find one. I am planning to buy a cai and a magnaflow before axle dump exhaust.

Looks like the Aev proal, and some 4:10 gears off of one of the guys/gals here for right now. Now to find some pleace that will install the gears relatively cheap..
