I had two spare fog light housings from my 05 Liberty Renegade that I used to mount my new Hella 500 fog lights to my Unlimited X bumper.

The Renegades came with the Hella 500s from the factory, so the new lights just snapped into the housing.

I had to drill out the mounting holes to fit the allen-head bolts I bought at Lowe's to mount them on the bumper, but other than that they are a perfect fit.

Here are the allen bolts from Lowe's. I used a 3" bolt to get through the bumper plastic and metal. Nylon lock nuts and lock washers on the underside hold it very tightly.

I mounted the relay to the engine bay via an unused hole.

The fogs were wired into the low beams and kick off when the high beams are switched on. The white with blue stripe is the low beam wire.

The Liberty housings had two mounting tabs on each base that had to be shaved down. (This took about 30 second with a Dremel.) With the lights mounted it looks like it came from the factory this way.

Nicely done, I like the looks of the Hella 500's, I'm thinking of getting these as replacements for the factory fogs when I change bumpers.
