My question exactly NevilleBartos (just about to post), and I'm not trying to hijack your thread

Is there some equation to figure out lift+tires(and wheels) for clearance? I'm in the same situation with my home garage and I park in a garage at work with a 6'3" clearance. I could find another garage, but I just need to know how tall.

Thanks.

Total lift plus half of an increase in tire size will get you a ballpark figure. But it's only close. Tire pressure will make a difference in height, so will additional weight on the Jeep. Larger spare tire, bumpers, winch, ect.

For the record. I have a 6'' lift and 39.5" tires, Fabfour bumpers and a winch, no spare right now. 82" to the top of the highest point of the soft top.
