I just swapped out both my bumpers. Front is a PSC brawler lite and rear is an ace pro series with carrier. No noticeable change in mpg's but the suspension takes bumps much better now with the added weight.
Sure an aftermarket bumper weighs more but factor in the difference of the stock which IMO is quite heavy for a plastic bumper and really your only adding 150lbs depending on your selections.
