Default Headlight adjustment

I just had my RK 3.5" lift installed. I was wondering if the headlights need to be readjusted or keep them how they are?

I have the same lift and had to adjust mine everyone kept flashing me cause they thought I had my high beams on. It's directly in other drivers faces. I just turned the screw lk 4 turns down.

Probably yes. I had to adjust mine with less lift than what you have. Its easy to do. You need a T10 screwdriver, masking tape or other tape, and a tapemeasure.
Find a flat area 25 feet from a wall. Park the jeep with the bumper 25 feet from the wall. Put a tape line on the wall 3 feet up from the ground. Adjust headlight so the beam is on the tape line.

Getting my lift soon, D , what do you actually do to set them up differently?

There is an adjustment screw next to each headlight. It is accessible from the front, you dont need to lift the hood. It takes a T10 torx screwdriver. Follow the procedure I outlined above and you will be fine.

You need a thin torx, like the one pictured below.
The tape goes on the wall at the same height as the center of the headlights.
Then adjust so the top of the brightest part of the pattern is at the tape, or no more than 2" below the tape.

Amigo, You are correct. Its a T15 as shown in your photo, not a T10 as I previously mentioned. At my age I should know better than to trust my memory.
Also your method to measure the height to the center of the headlamp is intriguing. I've always just used 3 feet but I kinda like your idea to further tune and improve the procedure.
Thanks.

Lots of people use 3 feet for the tape. Not all headlights are the same height, though.
Headlights higher than 3 feet will be aimed too low; headlights lower than 3 feet will be aimed too high.
The reference line has to match the headlight.
