I thought it was common knowledge that no tuner has cracked the 2011 PCM codes but I can see your point. Someone may not know that and get caught in your situation.
Thanks, good to know.

I'll have to check when I get home. I know there were 2 wire harness extensions, but I didn't look specifically at what they were for. Guessing they extend the existing O2 sensor harnesses to the new locations. But being that there were no instructions in the box (labeled American Racing Headers with a stamp on the side reading "Camaro") and no Predator, I didn't spend a lot of time investigating. And it was dang cold in the garage last night

They send you the wrong headers?

Maybe the 2011 kit does not come with a Predator because you can install a tune anyway. Have you had a chance to call Ripp? I might be wrong about the 02 sensors. I may have missread his post. I am going to try to find the thread where I was talking to a guy with a 2011. I know he said he had no check engine issues as off 300 miles.

I found the quote. Maybe you can IM him. It was in this thread on the 5th page.

Side question that might determine whether or not I return the whole thing: Am I going to run lean with no tune and the RIPP headers?
The predator does not work with the 2011 - the website was a typo - it has been corrected - Depending on where it was purchased I'm sure they will refund you the difference - RIPP will not play games for something like that.

Anyone else having this problem? It is an issue in MD when you get emission tested every 2 years.

We've tested exclusivly with sevral 2011's and the O2 run within spec, there are many forum members that run RIPP Headers on their 2011's without issue

No the wires are O2 Extenders - but without the instructions you wouldn't have know that sorry about that those can easily be emailed to you... just email rippmods@rippmods.com

American Racing Headers makes those for RIPP - The box is called Camaro (because its the same box they use for the JK) -

Thanks for all the replies folks, and RIPP! I think I'm all situated now. Ordered these through Northridge, so Dave's been taking care of me. I've got the right header set and I'll drop an e-mail for the installation instructions. They're getting installed on Thurs and can't wait!

I appreciate your dropping in on this thread! I'm curious what the problem is that the dealer service guy was referring to. I also mentioned the RIPP SC and he said they install lots of those with no problems and highly recommend them. Both of your products are on my wish list to get installed in the next 6-8 months.
