Has Your Jeep Been Flagged? Find Out Now!
Thanks to all the fun I've been having dealing with Chrysler and the wrongful restriction placed on my Jeep's warranty (to read all about it, click here), I've had a number or members contact me asking if there was a way for them to find out whether or not their Jeep has been flagged too. Well, I spoke to Chrysler about this and apparently, this is all you need to do:
1. Call 877-I-AM-JEEP (877-426-5337)
2. Provide your Jeep's VIN to the representative
3. Ask if your Jeep has any restrictions placed on it
That's all you need to do. If it's at all possible, I'd be most grateful if you could please come back and select a yea or nay on this Poll and let us know what, if anything you were told that might be of interest. Also, I think it would be helpful to put things into perspective if you could please provide us the following basic information:
What model year is your JK?
When did you buy it?
What kind of warranty did you get with it?
How many miles do you have on it now?
Is your JK Modified?
Have you ever taken your JK into a dealership for service or otherwise?
If yes, was it modified at the time?
If it is in fact a policy of Chrysler to have dealerships flag all Jeep's simply for being modified, it is clearly an unwritten one and this poll should help give all of us some insight as to how much it is enforced.
Thanks for your help

That was a concern of mine. I waited for a representative for 10 mins and then had to head out the door. Will try again at some other point, mine is going in for a warranty issue, I will probably call after that visit..

No flag here
I called and right off the bat he told me no... and before I could hang up, he wanted to know what the problem was. He said he will call the Management at the stealership, and have them call me to straighten this out.
To late I already did the work myself, which in turn probably voided my warranty.Front driverside axel shaft..Replaced, rear passenger side axel shaft ..Replaced, Clutch, pressure plate , throwout bearing, and pilot bearing ..Replaced, and now clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder being replaced. also evap cannister ..Replaced..X 5
Restrictions....none
Model...JK 4DR Rubicon.. Year ...08
Purchased...11 / 08
Warranty.... Life time Drive train / 36000 / 3 year other.
Miles on it now....28006
Service performed: My Gig replacement.
Modifications...2.5" hockey puck coil lift. front and rear bumpers, KargoMaster Congo cage, and Surco safari rack, Warn winch, AEV snorkel, finally Evap cannister skid plate.
Service Dept. I argue with..... Courtesy Chrysler Jeep.
Most of what Florida has to offer is, sugar sand, water and the occasional lime stone rocks that pop up.
My arguement is, my jeep is a Rubi.. It was made for the Rubicon trail....... and besides WTF does Trail Rated mean anyway. I dont do anything extreme, I have 33 in. tires, stock suspension. and only gas tank, transfer case and now evap skids on it. What does Trail Rated mean???????? can anybody tell me.

The Trail Ratedฎ badge means that your Jeep 4x4 has been designed to perform in five categories of off-road conditions: traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation, and water fording.
