now a shaved handle/opener for the back door would be cool. my old Saab had a hatch release button in the drivers door...this might have to go on the to do list.

I think the OP is bored and needs something to do! IMO it would look silly to have knobless doors. Body work to cover a hole? Really! It's a Jeep, not made to look "Pimpy"! Kinda like a thread I saw on here with a 4 door on 20" wheels and low profile tires on a 4x4. Really fugly to me, but hey, it's not my ride and everybody has their taste!
