Default Has anyone got rid of the paint and used Durabak? Line-X? Pictures?

Curious as to what this would look like on a JK. Sick of worrying about scratches out wheeling. Pros, Cons? How well does it hold up? Is it too heavy on the vehicle? Would Line-X be better?

Is Durabak like Line-X? I know some people have done the insides and some have done outsides of their JKs. Line-X is bulletproof and there to stay.

It can look like crap once it gets dirty. And once it gets dirty, you will never really get it clean again. I'm not sure I would want it on the outside of my vehicle. I would be more inclined to just go with a flat paint.

doesn't putting that stuff on your jeep kinda defeat the purpose of preventing scratches

agree, the color fades to an off black almost white after time.

its completely impossible to get clean... Line-X is a different story. Cleans up nice and wont fade

I am really thinking that after my JK is scratched to crap and looking bad, I am going to do the olive drab paint. I always wanted a jeep that color... but I am not getting rid of my current paint to do it.
