Has anybody received Pure Jeep products?

PJ Bumper
Well, I have the PJ front bumper on my JK now and can tell you that in my opinion, this thing is made extremely well, functions great and looks like it belongs on a JK. As far as the D-ring mounts go, they bolt up directly to the frame, sandwiching the bumper in-between. Honestly, I don't know how you could do this better or make it any stronger.

I also ordered the rear bumper with d-rings...After waiting a month I called them and they said 3 more weeks. So after 3 weeks I called again and they said 3 more weeks. After 3 more weeks I called them and they said 3 more weeks. That's when I cancelled the order..I'll never buy or order from them again. But thats just me..Good luck with your order..
Who keeps telling you 3 weeks? Purejeep?
Not to defend Purejeep but you pretty much will have to wait for any bumper you order right now. Also the purejeep bumper is very high quality. The rear tire carrier is more like 30-45 days out from what i was told. They really dont even exist yet except for a couple of prototypes.
Remember you just bought a new vehicle and if you would like a company to throw together a pile of crap and ship it to you that can happen but not from purejeep.
By the way we have fronts in stock not sure who everybody is ordering from and waiting.

If they had done that, instead of telling me 3 weeks every time I call, I wouldn't be complaining.
David, you were very honest with me regarding the FT kit I ordered from you, and I appreciate that. You explained the issues and gave me honest lead times, and I would highly recommend you to anybody.
But getting the runaround when you order over a thousand dollars worth of gear is unacceptable (in my honest opinion).

Mine arrived immediately!
I just ordered one late last week, and it arrived today. Immediate shipping! Unfortunately I had already canceled the order and re-ordered one from Shrockworks after reading this thread. So I had to refuse delivery (Sorry, PJ!). Tip: PJ now has at least one sitting there ready to go!
The D-ring things were backordered, according to the packing slip. The Shrockworks has them properly built in, so that's cool.

Just to hijack the thread a bit... My brother used to use a similar statement on his kids. Whenever they asked "How much longer" he ALWAYS replied "Two hours".
So, the manufacturers have a stock answer. When you ask "How long" the reply "Three weeks". Works for them!
