i line-x ed mine (in and out) over a year ago with no problems. nothing helps much with the heat here in las vegas.

hey has someone used LizardSkin Ceramic Insulation it looks like it will work

I looked into the lizard skin products for my tub. Didn't look to be very cost effective (2Gal ceramic $159 + 1Gal sound dampener $90) and it doesn't say anything about being useful as a bed liner, nor can I find anyone that has used it outside of a sponsored article.

I see lizard skin has been around for about 4 years now, so Im thinking its not that great or we would have heard more about it.

As far as a jeep tub or hard top application I see the importance of a UV protectant or it will fade and/or soften over time.

Won't help with heat but it does get rid of the "driving in an igloo cooler" feeling. I did my 2 door and loved it. If you want heat reduction check this out:
