Gents, how do you guys with Rubis and rock rails and painted fenders deal with paint chipping the front of the rear fenders???
Reason I ask, is that I've noticed that my front Duratracs throw anything they can, directly on my rear fenders.
Unlike Sahara models with their big sidesteps, the Rubi rock rails do a pretty shitty job at blocking anything thrown towards the rear.
Am seriously considering 3M on the front of the rear fenders.... How about you???

I actually have the factory mudflaps on my 2014 Sahara. I didn't ask for them, it just came that way. I figured I would broke one by now, but believe it or not, they are still holding strong even after trail use. I actually really like the fact I can slop through a mud hole or rocks not have to worry about debris. The picture below is not the greatest, but you get the idea

I know, not exactly what you were asking, but may be of some help.

I have the Sahara painted fenders and have modified rubi-rails with a step welded on. My rear fenders have seen some abuse from my 35" mud grapplers but I wouldn't say it is bad or even noticeable. I have more marks on them because of branch pin-stripping than slinging rocks.
