Default Got A smokin deal on some Xterrains.

A coworker of mine is getting rid of his Jeep this weekend. He just put a brand new set of 35x12.50x17 Procomp Xterrains less than two months ago. His commute to work is only about two miles so needless to say they are practically new. He's selling them to me for $800. I am just wondering if I can run these on the stock sport rims. I will be getting a lift as soon as I decide which one I like. I would like to save some cash for the lift and it would help if I didn't need to shell out for rims first. Thanks in advance.

Yep a lift and spacers is what you will need.

I wouldnt recommend trying to run 12.50s on a 7inch wide rim. If you can find someone that has the ability to actually get them on they will be bulged out real bad and that will greatly affect the tires performance especially when cornering. Its still a great deal so i would take the tires and keep them on stand by until you get your lift and rims. I work with a guy that is running 33x12.50r17 on a set of factory ram 1500 steel wheels which are also 7 inches wide and he hates not only the performance but also the look. Not to mention that when he and I were mounting them it took forever because something that wide is not meant to seat on such a narrow wheel. Hope this helps

You can fit them with no lift but it will be way tight. Might want to cut your fenders and you wot need a lift or just a budget boost. If your rims are the stock 17 moabs then yes but u need spacers. A lift would be nice but not very needed if u don't plan on hard wheeling

Don't forget you will need wheel spacers if you run the stocks. Spider Trax are good. I had run stock 17 rims with 37's, they'll fit the rim for sure.

They will fit without a lift on the hwy. There won't be much room for flex. You will need spacers to keep them from rubbing when you turn your front wheels. They may still rub on the plastic air dam. Ive got 35x12.50s on my stock wheels with a leveling kit. Here's a picture before and after I trimmed the fenders.
