Default Gorilla Guard Wheel Locks

Greetings folks!

I just took delivery on my 08 JK Unlimited Rubicon, and once of my first priorities is wheel locks so my spare doesn't accidentally roll away some dark deserted night at the campsite.

I have decided on the Gorilla Guards with the spinning sleeves as they seem the most secure to me. My only question, as a complete newb- what size/style do I need?

Acorn, Short Shank, Standard Mag, etc... this all means nothing to me. 1/2", 7/16" ?

Educate me please! Take me to school!

Many thanks in advance.

Should be 1/2" and you want the same lug seat "acorn, mag, etc" that matches your wheels. You cab either take one off and look at it or take the vehicle to a shop that can do it for you. The 1/2" is the thread pitch.

Unfortunately that is only a set of 4. I thought I saw a set of 5 sold somewhere... Not sure if they were Gorilla's though.

EDIT - Found 'em!!! At SummitRacing... part#GOR-71681NB5 $18.99

EDIT2 - Crud...forgot they had a $10.95 handling charge. Guess I'll search around...

EDIT3 - Sorry, DUH moment... shoulda checked Quadratec first. They have 71481NB5....wonder what the difference is? Their part# is 15007.03

We sell the gorilla products. I know we stock the 4 lock sets: 71481N They are $20.00 p/set delivered. We should be able to order a 5lug set for you, call and ask your salesman for a price and availability. P#'s always help.

If for some reason they aren't available, 2 sets will give you 2 differed lock sets and different key's. All the more difficult for the criminals.

Talking

# 72643 might be the 5 lock set with a key, for 4 tires and the spare.

No idea. . .

I bought the 4 pack locally, so once mine showed up I just called Gorilla and got the 5th wheel lock (and an extra key) sent to me for $13.50 shipped.

You'll need the reg # from the package to order them in. And make sure you tell them there's NO "N" on the end of the part number. I.E. You've got the ones with the sleeve on it.

Edit. By the way, i don't think the 71681 or 71481 have the sleeve on them. As far as I can tell from their website ALL Gorilla locks with a sleeve have part numbers than begin with a 6.

Got a set of five with a key from 4wd.com for 19.95. Just told them I had an 07' Jk and they sent the right one.
