Default Goodyear MTR w/Kevlar - Reviews?

For those who run these tires, how are they holding up? Do they live up to their expectations? I'm deciding between these and BFG KM2s. (35 x 16" tire)

Ive been running them for several months and I love em. They are doing better than an I expected. another local club member just made the switch to them as well and couldnt be happier.

They have some nice road noise. I like how they sound. They ride a little stiffer to me than the BFG's did. Nothing that you don't get used to quickly. I'm still trying to get used to airing down with them. I'd do about 18 with the BFG's. These seem to really come alive off road at 12. Some folks are going down even further with them. My problem with the BFG's is I kept doing in the sidewalls -some driver error some not. I haven't changed my driving style with the Goodyears and the sidewalls are holding up great!

when airing down with mine, Ive noticed the best results around 10psi. Ive tried 11 and the sidewalls jsut dont budge. That 1 extra psi makes a huge difference. They also hold the rim very well. Ive ran them as low as 7psi without beadlocks and no issues on extreme offcambers. So they definately are more sensative to pressure than others but still great tires.

Love the MT/R Kevlars. Good on road, GREAT off road at 10PSI, but they suck at cleaning out clayish mud. But, I play in the rocks, so they are GREAT.

Right, the MT/Rs are NOT designed for mud. Some folks confuse the MT/R name to mean its a mud terrain tire but its is definately not for use in mud. I think the MT/R stands for maximum traction/reinforced but I'm not sure.
