ABOUT TO BUY..WHICH DO YALL THINK IS A BETTER TIRE..
WHICH IS THE LESS NOISY.. THE PRICES ARE CLOSE ENOUGH THAT I CAN GO ETHIER WAY

they are both amazing tires. I think you will get better life from the BFG, maybe a little less noise also. Both are great tires!!! I doubt either will disappoint you. I would have bought the BFG instead of the Nittos I got but the price difference was too much for me. I had the goodyear MTR on my TJ and loved them. They worked great in everything but rain.

If you wait a while, the MT/R are going down in price since Goodyear is coming out with the new MT/R with Kevlar. Very nice tires with an asymmetrical pattern.
You really can't go wrong with either tire. Both are great and you'll be happy with either.

My Rubicon came with BFG's
On a side note I was just having the discussion about the new MTR's with my tire rep and he showed me a review of the new MTR on a JK 4door and the review I read was finominal they said rocks, loose dirt, mud wet grass it excelled at everything the only question left remaining was about the tread life with the wider tread voids
