Yeah no doubt! I think a little trip down to the U.S. of A. may be in order to get the gears done.

It does take about 10 to 12 hours to set everything up properely, there are some shops that bang them in much faster though

Well...I hope they're doing complete overhaul and not simple install for that price... you'd better be getting all new bearings at that price.

I aggree,, the differance would pay for good chunk of the road trip.

that's it. i'm coming to ohio. where can i find this philanthropist?

i've watched part of this process and will not attempt on my own. i've revisted this recently and shops in the northwest arkansas area have quoted quoted 1,300 to 1,500 including 4.88 gears.
