going to Moab but got a Question
Here is the deal I am have a 3.5 long arm installed, 37" tires and flat fender flares, as well as new drivelines and bumpers. My problem is i know I need to regear but ran out of jeep funds as well as my buddy can't get to it before i go. So i have a six speed with 4:10 gears as well as the flashpaq, will my jeep be able to perform well in moab or should i cancel the trip and wait till next year after i regear.
Please help me with this all info will be read and thought over so even a little will help

Don't let your gearing effect your decision. If your rig is in good working order and you have already planned to go then go. I went to Moab two years ago and it was an amazing trip. There are so many different types of trails and the locals are really helpful, so you'll be able to drive some awesome trails no matter how your geared.

I had a very similar situation last year at Topless for Tatas. 4.10s, 6 speed, 37 Toyos and a pro Cal. The wheeling was fine, albeit a bit more stalling than I would have liked. The freeway driving to TFT was miserable, but the wheeling was a blast. I have since upgraded to 5.38s

I guess it depends on which trails you're doing. If you're doing really easy stuff like mostly dirt roads and sightseeing, you should definitely go. If you're going to try some of the tougher stuff, you're going to be stalling a lot which can be really scary at times. There's some obstacles like climbs and descents that I would not want to stall on. If you stall on something like "The Launchpad", you better be wearing a diaper.

If you see the nearly stock rigs doing trails at Moab like I saw at ESJ you wouldn't worry so much. Maybe you don't want to do Prichett Canyon but you have a lot of other options. Poison Spider Mesa is one of my favorites fwiw.
Use good judgement with obstacles and you'll be fine. Though you might break something anyway. Just goes with the territory.
