Default Gibson Dual Exhaust - Questions for current owners

I am interested in the Gibson Dual Exhaust that is listed on the quadratec website. I have searched all over this forum but I seem to be getting mixed answers.

For people who have this exhaust: How loud is it? Is it to loud? I saw that people were reporting of a drone at 2000. Is this a loud obnoxious drone or a nice V8 with flowmaster drone? Is it something that if you had the radio up at a resonable level, that it wouldnt be a big deal?

It seems like that some people are having good results and some bad. If I were to have bad results, would Gibson take these back and give me a refund?

Also MPG and power?

I really like the idea and look of dual exhaust and I would like to have a nice, meatier sound. Are there anyother options? Could an exhaust shop put in duals for a resonable price?

btw 2007 2 door with 4.10s and rubicon 32s

Thanks alot guys

Overall, I'm satisfied with it.
Thanks for the info....

Did you notice any drop/gain in MPG?

I also have the Gibson Dual. Coupled with an AEM intake there was a good boost in HP and MPG. The sound is pretty loud. Not quite V8 and not annoying. I do get alot of people trying to race me at stop lights though.

Overall I am happy with it.

I also have the split rear exhaust from Gibson. It is loud, not too loud though. I have K&N drop in as well. Maybe a small gain in HP and MPG, but not too noticable. Very easy to install. I would highly recommend this exaust. The sound is loud but has an awsome tone. Not quite a v8 but definately not a rice burner.

Just took mine off, way to loud, sounds like your missing your silencer altogether. Only time is sounds good is when starting the engine. Shame as it looks good.

tastes vary, but I had the split-rear and swapped it for Banks.
The Gibson was a little aggressive for me.
Wife hated it....so what choice did I have??

Do you want my opinion on the two rated against each other?
