Many disappointed and unhappy forum members here at one time.

All that may be in the past now, as manufacturers could have made design changes, but I don't believe it would be a total waste of time to check. Hope all works out well for you.
thanks for that...i had heard about that. i dont use my jk for towing or anything much...but would the back pressure problem effect acceleration?

i love the gibson i just cant risk the drone, if it irratates me after spending $500+ then im screwed
You'll sacrifice some low end horsepower with this dual exhaust. Outlets are both 2 1/2 inches, too much for a V6. the trick is too reduce back pressure not eliminate it

when someone tells me lower horsepower...does that mean it will accelerate slower?

I just installed the Flowmaster 50 Series Cat back today. Nice deep throaty tone no spitting and popping. About seven tenths of a gallon mileage increase.minimal increase in HP.

I have the Gibson and love it. My fellow jeepers like it also. I had it installed at 500 miles and added the CAI and flash paq shortly after. I really dont have any complaints about it except the rear exit leaves residue on my cooler when I use a hitch carrier... but I rarely use it so I can deal with it.

Nice tone, noticeable but not too loud, a light deeper sound than the flowmaster 44,
no drone or resonation. P.S. I love the look of the duelies myself, but couldn't see doing a $500 upgrade to loose precious power. To maintain the horsepower you would need outlets in the 1 1/2 inch diameter area. My little Scion XA has a bigger pipe than that

Do cai's and flash paq's really help with an exhaust system?
