I have decided to get the Gibson dual. I listen to my music fairly loud...just below the level of blowing my speakers...so that should help cover up the drone.

Thanks for your input everyone

I will of course :-)

I need to update pictures of my jeep too.

I most likely won't get the exhaust till christmas. But then I'll have pics up right away

Cheers
does the flow master stay as far back as the stock exhaust tip? or does it come out right under the bumper? I raise this question because i do have the occasional bumper rub (under rear)

ID:	102933I had a shop install my gibson's and they said in looked very similar to a camaro duel exhaust muffler. They would likely have something . The noise is not as bad as some feel. I hear my tires more then the muffler. Just crank up the stereo. I do like the look of duels.

Stainless steal is the better material not because it doesn't rust, but because it bends without creases, and creases restrict flow.

Dual exhaust just adds more weight. Mathematically you get better results from a single pipe with a larger diameter over stock. Two pipes= twice the surface metal through which the exhaust must pass. A single pipe also eliminates the need for an H pipe, which is not only less effective, but unnecessary weight.

You might want to double check the forum to ensure you won't lose a lot of backpressure with that dual exhaust - I seem to remember many past posts lamenting the loss of power that aftermarket dual exhaust systems afflicted upon our JKs (most noted the loss immediately after installation and during their first test drive). Many disappointed and unhappy forum members here at one time.

All that may be in the past now, as manufacturers could have made design changes, but I don't believe it would be a total waste of time to check. Hope all works out well for you.
