Default Gibson dual exhaust

hi everyone,
i am for sure getting the gibson dual exhaust for my 07 2dr rescue green x.

i have read many post about this exhaust system and eventhough a lot of people have bashed it, i want it.

i have two questions.

is stainless steel really worth the extra $150?

and

is the so called "drone" that one would hear while driving down the road headache material? is it annoying for long drives?

thank you very much in advance!

Sean

Depends where you live. In the rust belt, "Yes." but in Az, "No. "

Depends on your age, choice of music, and listening habits. For old guys like me, "Yes."

haha thanks alot...i am an 18 year old dude that is currently living in montana...yes the major rust belt...and i love loud music and im going to have cooper stt discoverers on it which are loud too...so i should be ok with the "drone" however i am fairly sensitive to noises like that...so i dont know. but ill deffinately go with the aluminized...then if its too much ill just put the stock back on

Default Not sure

I have it and it was a bit much for me but I have a Soft top only.
I have not ran it through winter yet so I can't answer the SS worth it or not question.
I do like it. I like the way it looks. I ended up putting a generic resonator on there and now it sounds the way I wanted it to.
It didn't give me a headache but I had to turn the music up to hear it. I have pretty good ears and I didn't want to blow my ear drums.
I think you will be happy with it.

I was hoping for a dual exhaust. I love the look. I just don't know if the drone will bother me too much. I don't mind the price of the Gibson
