Genright tire carrier Accessories?
hey guys!
My Genright tire carrier is in the mail! gonna get it next wednesday
I want to mount my hi-lift on it, along with my axe and my shovel.
For the axe/shovel, I will use quick fist clamps, and for the hi-lift, I know there is some studs mounted on clamps built by genright, but I guess I'm only gonna weld bolts on it.
SO, anyone ever installed stuff on their carrier? rotopax will be on the list also!

Put some pictures up and let us know how the install goes. I am thinking of getting one of the Genright Carriers when I go with 37's.
I have doubts about my current carrier getting tweaked from the weight and dragging on the bumper.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better option IMHO. I have the GenRight carrier (steel) and have a 37" spare back there and it operates with very little effort. Install was't bad at all, but I did have a couple of allen head screws get buggered up in the process. The hardest part of the install was the placement of the striker panel. Make sure you follow the directions on that part. The rest is pretty easy.

The install was easy for someone who is fairly well equiped.
The only concern I have is the bushing being too loose and I have trouble lining the holes with the latching plate. But overall I'm happy with it.
I welded 1/2" bolts to attach the hi-lift, this was the only option I had. There was not enough space on the inside.
