Default Gears and lockers

I'm looking into getting gears and lockers. But of course I have a few questions. Is G2 gears good gears? I have always had Yukon gears but I can't find where to order them. Next question should I get a locker in the rear and a true trac in the front or true trac in rear and locker up front or both locker front and rear. I do mainly trail riding and climbing considering there's no hills around here. Last question is can I buy used lockers and they be just as good or is there a threat to it. I'm re-lifting my jeep before I do any of this with a rock crawler 3.5 system and going to run 35s maybe 37s one day

G2's are fine. There are quite a few posts indicating that they set up easy and are as durable as any other brand coming out of asia.

Locker/limited choice is a personal preference. Front or rear is another preference.

My preference for a daily driver with light to medium offroad usage would be a pair of truetracs with a set of gussets up front.

If you think that you actually 'need' a locker (or that your offroading will grow to the point that you will), then I would put it in the rear 44. If you don't want an auto-locker or a truetrac in the rear, then look at the selectables. Many will disagree with that, it's just a personal preference against locking a d30, and another preference against dumping a bunch of money into one.

Used can be hit or miss, just depends. As with anything else, some people are trustworthy and others will try and sell you crap that they know has been abused. If you aren't comfortable inspecting them yourself, then at least take them to a shop to get checked out before handing over any money.
