Mine is in the shop right now getting 5.13s. I'm paying $1500 and that was the cheapest quote of 3.

If you only regear one axle and then put it in 4wd you will break something. Both axles have to be geared the same to run in 4wd.

speaking of gears? will a 3.73
gear be alright to run 35's in a automatic?

instead of asking here you should do a search on other peoples post on this topic. it is personal preferance mixed with the driving habits and terrain. alot of thigs to think about. my personal opnion is no. i have 4.10s and 33s and feel a lack of power even with O/D off

X2. I think 4.10s and 33s is barely bearable. I just got 35s and I am going 5.13s

I run 3.73s and 35s on a 2 door 6 speed without incident. I took care of the intake/exhaust side of things before I did so with CAI/Headers/Exhaust before I did so, and have a lot of other targets to spend my cash on before re-gearing. No problem using 6th gear on the highway flats and just the same I don't have a computer telling my JK when to switch gears nor a torque converter eating up 15% of my power before it locks up.
