Default Which Gears to buy

Im going to be getting a set of 37's and 35's. I'm getting gussets and sleeves for my Dana 30 to support it but Im trying to decide what gears. Im thinking I will be getting the 5.13 over the 4.88. What brand is best or recommended but still at a reasonable price and are the 5.13 the right choice? I drive 7 hours probably 10 times a year but besides that dont do much highway driving.

5.13's for sure! If you had a d44 up front I would even say 5.38's. Just my opinion...

Just had 5.38s from Northridge installed. Davis is great to work with and will take good care of you. Call him and tell him what you need and he'll set you up.

Thanks again David!!

Since you have minimal highway driving and 37's get the 5.13's with your auto.

I have auto, 35's and 4.88's but do a lot of highway. The 4.88's have good balance of restored power and I can still lock out of OD and maintain higher speed without RPM's being too high.

Haven't check mileage yet cause I'm having too much fun with the lead foot...

the 37's are for offroad use only... the 35's will be on for DD use. Also have a superchip but I doubt that has any impact.

Teraflex are fine. Evo have the option of running seals , where teraflex does not.
