Default Gears (AGAIN)

I have 3.73's in my 2dr with auto now. What gears would be equal to what I have now with the OD turned off?
What I am saying is that I am not that unhappy with the way my jeep performs running 35's with my 3.73 and the OD off. But it would be nice to do gears that would allow me to have OD.... if that makes sence.
At 70mph with the OD off I am right at 2500rpm and it feels good.

5.13's will put you in that RPM range and they are exactly what most of us recommend when you have 35" tires.

Search for the Gears, Gears, Gears thread and read Planman's post if you want details.

3.73 (current gear set) / .69 (OD) = 5.41 (1:1, 3rd gear equivalent).

So 5.38s are the right gear set for what you're asking although unavailable for the D30.

Also check the chart in the Drivetrain FAQ to get an idea of rpm's with various gear/tire combo's. Use 'actual' tire heights, not the mfg's listed heights.
