I also just called crawler tech and he tried to convice me to do 5.13 or 4.88 but according to the grimm jeeper gear calculator web site with 4.88 with 35's I would only be at 65mph at 3000rpm which to me 3000rpm on the highway for an extended period and to not even be doin the speed limit would not be good in my eyes . But the dont have the 4.56's in stock .

Sorry... Stock 4:11 gears... Hoping 4:88 picks it up a bit. In a head wind 6th is unusable... Thinking 5:13 may be a better option

Looks like we'll have to get creative and figure something out. I'd much rather go with 4.10 than 4.88, although for the amount of money for regearing, one ought to get what one wants and not have to settle for less. I have my 35s & lift kit sitting in my basement pending my new gears so I suppose I'll have to wait. Thanks again fo doing all the leg work.

4.10's with 35's sucks, particularly at higher elevations.
I am getting 4.88 next week. EVO charges $999.99. Maybe the savings would be worth a trip to CA!

With this Autumn weather rolling in, it sure sounds tempting. Its amazing that everything else is so much more expensive in CA, yet you guys are enjoying gear swaps for so cheap, and from EVO no less.

I run 5:13 with a manual and 35" tires. I cruise can cruise at 65mph highway at 2800rpm in 6th gear. I think thats spot on. I run mud tires rated for 70mph anyway. I dont need to go fast. I just need to go anywhere.
