Default Gearing after 33's

First post! This place is great. I am a noob when it comes to jeeps. I purchased a 2012 2 door JK I just put 33x12.5x15 Wrangler duratracs. I love the tires bbut my problem now is the stock 3.21's make alot less low end torque. I wish I would have gotten the factory 3.73's. Does anyone know of a kit for 4.10's or could possibly point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Dan

Unless you know how to do the re-gearing on your own, I would find your local 4x4 shop and get quotes and stuff from them. This is about the ONLY mod that I will pay someone else to do.

I have a 2012 as well. 4door Rubicon with 410 gears. with a 33" tire, I feel the 410's would still be more than fine. quite a bit of lowend torque. I have driven a 2012 with 35's/ 410's and it still felt good. So with 33's, that would be good also.

I think you should 1st try a AEV ProCal to address tire size. That should help some before you spend $800 to $1k for gears.

I have also driven 373's and felt the difference between 410's. your 321's may have less low end feel to it, but I think the procal (which you'll need anyhow to regear) would be a good 1st step. Without the procal on the 2012 Auto trans, your truck will go into limp mode.

Thanks guys, I wasnt aware of the AEV ProCal, I just ordered one. One real fast question with the axles on the sport 2012, are they the same axles are the sport 2011? I found a pair of brand new front and rears 3.73s from a 2011 for a great deal just gears with spider gears, carrier and pinion. Looks like its for a D30 front and D44 rear.

Thanks again.

no matter what getting the gears swapped is going to be expensive, so you might want to go with the 4.10s
