What Gear set?
I have a 2009 Sahara with 3:73 with a 30 in the front and a 44 in the rear. Did some research on the forum and decided since I am running 35 with a auto need to step up my gears to 5:13 and am going to add some arb air lockers. I couldn't however decide which brand of gear set to buy and what all I need besides just the gear set...if anything at all. If you could please help and give me any insight if I am going in the right direction with 5:13? Any direction would be great! Thanks again everybody

Gears front and rear
Overhaul kits front and rear (get the ones with Timken bearings)
Arb's front and rear
Air source (Arb compressor or, any other compressor plus a tank, or CO2)
Switch Panel and Switches
Gussets/Sleeves/Truss/Skids/Mounts
Northridge has a great deal on the air package. Compressor/inflation kit/bracket, free shipping, and an an extra 5% off. Not sure if the discount still applies, but check the thread in the vendors area.
All 'JK' gears are still coming from a few locations overseas. I don't really think it matters which you choose, just compare the price and warranty and get what you like.

You can use Install kits, but you will need low mileage axles and then hope that your installer doesn't trash the stock bearings when he is removing/replacing/removing/replacing/removing/replacing to get the gears set up right.

You use the overhaul kit if you have more than 30,000 miles on the vehicle. The overhaul kit includes all the bearings. The install kit is the same as the overhaul kit minus the bearings.

Do you agree or do you wish that you had gone taller?
