Most people will recommend what they have. Yukons are good, G2's are "cheaper" and have a life time warranty. The most important thing is to have a good, reliable shop doing the install. Someone that will warrant the work.

Really they are all about the same, just in different boxes. The G2 brand gears are the same quality Korean made gears that pretty much every other company sells.

G2 Warranty on manufacture defects is 10 years.

I chose G2 for the price and warranty. Then had a 4wd/4wp store install. I believe I paid a lil extra for their warranty but they were offering half price install, half price item, etc... deals so it came out really cheap. I'm very happy with the gears. I've had no complications and I probably drove it harder than I should have during the break in period. They did a follow inspection and changed the dif fluid. Everything is perfect. Good luck with your purchase!

False, G2's Warranty is pretty cut and dry, it breaks they replace it.

They just Warrantied a set of gears for my customer this morning, and happened to be out of the 5.13 for JK D30, and they sent him a set of Superiors which were instock.

US Gear

A quote from Dyna
Very true. The only other option is very new. U.S. Gear has just released 4.88s for a the front and rear JK 44s. They are made of 4320 steel instead of the normal 8620. It is much more durable and the processes are much more consistant than your usual overseas gear vendor. They are more expensive than the the current gears but, despite their cost, they would be my only choice if I wanted 4.88s.
