Default gauges for you jeep...

Im thinking about getting 3 extra gauges for my new JK i.e. water temp, oil press., volt meter. I would like to get some advise for this new mod, has anyone done this yet? Where did you mount the guage bracket?

This is what I got recently. The only thing is you would have to install a sending unit for your oil pressure.

I think the second post down has some great info on the EASIEST way to install the sensor. Takes just a few minutes under the Jeep and then a bit longer getting the wire/power thing sorted out.

Agree on the Aeroforce gauge. You can put two in. Each one displays two parameters. You can have up to 3 custom inputs per gauge. Here a list of parameters that work with mine:

Here's what I have.

I just cut the plastic and JB welded it.

I have it set up to cycle through Water Temp and Oil Pressure then Trans Temp & Current Gear. The Other I just have on Volts and MPG. (Hemi reports Oil pressure)

It might be even easier. Get an adapter for the VDo dual sensor:

Images stolen from Trail Bud's album

My best guess at the gauge and sender

VDO 350-104

Part Number: 360-009
Range: Pressure Sender: 0-80 PSI/5 Bar
Thread: 1/8-27 NPT
Warning Contact: 7.0 PSI
Compatibility: 10-180 Ohms
Notes: Single Station (for one gauge), Standard Ground. With warning contact for warning light.

If you have an auto I think the most important gage you can install in a JK is transmission temp.
