Default Gas Milage on 33's

I am considering changing tires on my Sahara to 33's, I currently have Bridgestone Duellers on there now which are basically 31's and I am wondering if anyone has noticed a difference in gas milage by changing over to the 33.

i have had 33's on mine since day one and i have been getting 16 mpg on average. Almost all short trip city driving. On th few highway trips to Camp Jeep 07, and our trips to Rausch Creek Offroad Park i usally get 21 mpg. I dont dive my JK like a car either. shift at 2500 RPM, and use my gears to slow me down to a stop. going to 35's in a few months too.

08 2dr auto, 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I average 12.5-13 normal and on a recent trip to North Carolina (950 miles round trip)16.5 I'm not complaining, I did not buy the Jeep for economy, in fact I would probably drive it if it got 5 MPG!!! ok I'm done just my .02

I get about 15mpg with my 33" M/Ts, Auto and 3.73 Gears.... And I hate it, I want to regear so badly but just cant justify $1200 to regear for 33", maybe when I go 35",. I lost about 4mpg going to 33"s
