Default Full traction Ultimate lowers cracking bushings..

Im on my 2nd set of bushings in my full traction control arms. The first set made it 1000 miles,(could be less thats when I noticed it) This set has less than 500 miles on them and they are cracked again When I spoke with Full traction the first time they said there was a bad batch of material and sent the new ones out.Im at a loss here. I made sure to torque them according to their specs. Ill be calling them again tomorrow but I really need them to last longer than this as I plan to drive to moab next year and its 1200 miles one way. I cant stop every 500 miles and replace them.

never heard of them cracking remotely that quickly. The cracking really baffles me. I've had two of the kits, and have had one bushing crack in 40,000 miles and that could have been from the accident.

Call and talk with Steve Kramer tomorrow, I'm sure you'll be taken care of.

Did you have the bushings or the johnny joint style on the frame? My axle connections is a heim joint then a bushing at the frame end.

the long arm only has the bushings at the rear upper control arms. The rest are heims and spherical bushings.

When I had the ultimate kit, I had one bushing go bad. I only noticed it after my Jk was totalled and I was removing the control arms. So it could have been from the front end collision.

The people answering the phone could be a lil more helpful. I guess I got lucky last time I called.
